Buongiorno! Today, we embark on a culinary journey to the heart of Italy, the birthplace of pizza

Close your eyes and imagine the sun-kissed streets of your favorite Italian city, where wood-fired ovens perfume the air and laughter echoes through piazzas. Our mission today? To cook two savory Italian-style pizzas that transcends our kitchen…a recipe that becomes an experience, a memory, and a celebration of la dolce vita.
In this post we will show you how to make two delicious pizzas in no time: Margherita Pizza and Mushrooms & Bell pepper Pizza. The best part? this recipe is so easy that you can do it with your kids (it is kids friendly), they will be more than happy to help.

  2. In a bowl, mix the tomato puree, basil, oregano, garlic powder, salt and olive oil. Spread it over your pizza doughs and bring them to the oven for 5-7 minutes
  3. In the meantime, prepare and cut all your toppings
  4. Passed the 5-7 minutes, take your pizza out of the oven and add your toppings. Bring it to the oven for another 7 minutes

Note: for the mushrooms & bell pepper pizza, only add the speck ham at the very end, do not put in the oven

Our recipe is a canvas waiting for your creativity. Top it with sun-dried tomatoes, arugula, or a sprinkle of chili oil. The choice is yours, just let your imagination do the work

As you savor each slice, let time slow down. Remember the Italian saying: “Il dolce far niente”—the sweetness of doing nothing. That’s what pizza embodies—a moment to relish life’s simple pleasures… This is an easy, yet delicious, recipe that I hold very close to my heart. So, enjoy it, and let me know if you liked it in the comments.
